About the role:
As a Product Architect for TQL, you will apply your expertise to shape and deliver innovative software solutions from business need definition and discovery through delivery. You will guide team members through onboarding of each software program by familiarizing them with its objectives and technical direction. You will coordinate with other capabilities to ensure world-class user experiences and creation of scalable and resilient systems that can adopt to the ever-changing needs of the logistics and transportation industry.

What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee ongoing technical product roadmaps and architecture, according to business strategies and enterprise architecture
- Coach, mentor and collaborate with technical subject matter experts and EA peers on the technology patterns to best delivery consistency and quality across the organization
- Develop disposable Proof of Concepts (POCs) to quickly demonstrate feasibility of the product idea and realize it as a viable solution
- Responsible for generating architecture documents, logical flows, and models to keep the team informed on the architecture of the platform
- Design for functional and non-functional qualities, including availability, resiliency, security, privacy, observability etc.
- Embrace platform thinking and promote the reuse of capabilities and components
- In collaboration with EA, lead the analysis of technology industry and market trends to determine their potential impact on the enterprise
- Mentor team members in software development and architectural principles, patterns, processes, and practices
- Serve as a technical and business-savvy resource to software development engineering personnel on a range of software design issues
- Ensure customers and end-users are your top-priority
What you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience with systems architecture
- Full stack knowledge of modern hybrid infrastructure, data, and application technology platforms
- Proven track record of delivering, building, and integrating custom built applications
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Excellent critical thinking and problems solving skills
- Strong ability to collaborate to successfully execute new technology strategies and patterns
