About the role:

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician for TQL, you will be responsible for all preventive and corrective maintenance for Cincinnati Headquarters and surrounding offices. You will help spearhead all the office needs, including maintenance, set-up, tear-down and installations. While this role is based in Cincinnati with a flexible first shift M-F, you may be required to travel upon request. What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage maintenance for all Cincinnati offices, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, workstations, office furniture, carpentry and painting
  • Assist other departments in the setup and tear down for company events, meetings, and other company functions within TQL facilities
  • Communicate needed repairs and maintenance to management
  • Work with hand and power tools, applying mathematics, basic carpentry and preventative/predictive maintenance as needed
  • Perform grounds maintenance functions including snow removal, minor landscaping repair and improvement
  • Transport equipment between satellite offices via car, vans and trucks (non CDL)
  • Work from elevated areas using ladders, platforms and scaffolding

   

What you need: 

  • 2-5 years' experience in plumbing, carpentry, electrical wiring, HVAC/R, systems furniture or related work
  • On the job training or field certifications preferred
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Self-motivated with ability to work alone to produce results
  • Disciplined work style with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (2pm-11pm) with 24/7/365 availability as needed in urgent situations
