About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst focused on Process Improvement to join our team. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise in Excel, VBA, SQL, and Power BI to analyze and optimize business processes. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive efficiency and operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: 
    • Collect, clean, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in business processes.
    • Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Utilize advanced Excel functions, including macros, to automate data processing and reporting tasks.
  • Process Improvement: 
    • Evaluate existing processes and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and measure process improvement opportunities and results.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Support: 
    • Conduct root cause analysis to address issues and prevent recurring inefficiencies.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision making.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize projects, and align improvements with organizational goals.
    • Clearly communicate technical findings and solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Automation and Innovation:
    • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve data workflows.
    • Stay up to date with the latest tools, technologies, and best practices in data analysis and process efficiency.

  

What you need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, process improvement, or a related role 
  • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business analytics, or related field 
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including macros and VBA.
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with other data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
