About the role:
TQL is seeking motivated, high performing individuals to apply for our Fast Track Sales Development Program. We will pay to relocate you to Cincinnati, Ohio to train with some of the top brokers in the company. Once you’ve completed training and built a solid book of business, TQL will pay to relocate you again to any of our 60+ offices nationwide. Our best in-class training and mentorship program will teach you everything you need to know about sales, logistics and supply chain management. POSITION IS LOCATED IN CINCINNATI - PAID RELOCATION PROVIDED
What’s in it for you:
- $50,000-$55,000 minimum compensation in year one, depending on education
- $40,000 base salary
- $7,500 stipend; $12,500 stipend with verified bachelor’s degree (paid out over the first 15 months of employment)
- $2,500 sign-on bonus
- Average Year 2 - 3 earnings: $75,712 - $102,094

What you'll do:
- In-Depth Training
- Partner with a TQL broker to manage their account, secure carriers for freight and handle all necessary documentation
- Participate in hands-on and virtual training sessions
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve freight issues
- Develop negotiation skills through prospecting and cold calling exercises and real-life experiences
- Build your Book
- Use your training to meet sales readiness metrics and become eligible for commission
- Establish relationships to close new and existing customers
- Negotiate prices with customers and carriers
- Manage your account and resolve issues to ensure timely pickup and delivery
- Provide proactive and honest communication, internally and externally
What you need:
- Availability to work full-time, 100% in-office
- Determination to outwork anyone
- Strong negotiation skills with professionalism to handle conflict
- Entrepreneurial mindset and passion for exceptional customer service
- College degree preferred
