Overview:

As an Accounting Business Analyst, you will be working directly with sales and various back-office departments.  Your primary focus will be on analyzing current business processes and promoting best practices and tools available to LAEs to optimize the A/R collection process.  Additionally, you will assist with conducting account audits to ensure billing accuracy and identify areas for operational improvements that impact front and back-office operations.

What you'll be doing:

  • A/R Collection Education and Awareness
  • Collaborate with LAEs to provide education and training on A/R collection best practices, emphasizing effective communication with customers regarding payments. 
  • Account Auditing and Billing Accuracy
  • Assist in conducting thorough account audits to analyze A/R data and ensure billing accuracy, identifying, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Data Analysis and Insights
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to draw conclusions from A/R collection data, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential challenges. 
  • Reporting
  • Maintain basic reporting and dashboards to present key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to stakeholders.
  • Communication and Collaboration
  • Maintain effective communication with LAEs and cross-functional departments, fostering a collaborative environment to address challenges and implement improvements.

  

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable (A/R) processes and financial operations
  • Strong analytical mindset to interpret data, identify trends and draw conclusions
  • Proficient in excel
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional departments
